Michaela is a professional session manicurist from Essex. Known for her precise application, attention to detail and manicure skills, this has made Michaela a highly sought after manicurist in the industry. 

Her areas of expertise includes nail polish, gel polish and French application.

Michaela began her career working in some of London's most prestigious 5* day spa's as a spa therapist, before launching her own luxury boutique spa 'Moroccan Rose' in Essex.

​

It was here after many years working with Jessica Nails, their PR  team gave Michaela the opprtunity to work on press and brand events as part of their 'hands on team'.

It was through this Michaela had a taste of session work and the fun craziness of it all took hold..

In 2018, Michaela launched 'Nails by Michaela Johnson' after being personally asked by Canadian fashion designer, Mark Fast, if she could lead nails with her own team. 

Michaela and Mark had a great working relationship after working on his show for several years as a session manicurist within the Jessica Nails hands on team.

Michaela has lead nails for this particular designer now for 8 seasons.

A regular manicurist at London Fashion Week, with credits including polishing many models nails for shows such as Paul Costelloe, Mark Fast, Roksanda, Edward Crutchley, Sharon Waurchob, Canada Goose JW Anderson to name a few.

Commercially Michaela has recently worked on Coca Cola's latest advertising campaign.
